NO SPA 40+ is a onceptual design project by Kai Neeme reflecting on modern wellness culture and the quiet pressure placed on women - especially those balancing motherhood, aging, caretaking, careers, and the promise of “me time.”
The name plays on the real antispasmodic drug No-Spa, reimagined not as relief for the body, but as a metaphor for emotional overload and chronic mental fatigue.
This is not a real medicine or supplement.
NO SPA 40+ exists as a fictional visual commentary - a deliberately familiar object used to question why exhaustion has become normalized, and why rest is so often packaged as a responsibility.
Bright on the surface, the project leaves a subtle aftertaste of recognition rather than resolution.
